Beach Trip

The Jolly Rodger on Top Sail Island

 Don't eat the sand, Levi.

View from the balcony. I was trying to make some art-sy photography with the hanging bathing suits. Whatever.
 The Sound:

Jim caught a crab with a hotdog on a hook.

Weston and Nicole: Friends since before they could walk.

Summer of Swimming

James Charlie and Levi- chillin' in their car seats while everyone swims. This didn't last long. They wanted to join.
When one floatation device isn't enough, try 3!
Weston got very good at jumping off the diving board and swimming to the side all by himself.

Trip to Philidelphia

We had a great idea to head to Philadelphia as a combined B-day gift for Weston and Dallin. Weston had been wanting to see the Liberty Bell and Dallin is always up for an adventure. We got a great deal on a high-rise hotel where you can watch the fireworks from the 30th floor and it came with tickets to a children's museum. What could go wrong???
First of all, the Liberty Bell was a little less than thrilling for Weston. We waited in a really long line to see that sucker. I guess we were all expecting something much bigger.

There were some other activities nearby, it was the 4th of July in America's birthplace.

Time for fireworks! This is going to be amazing. We got up there around 9:30 to make sure we had a great view.

 It was exciting at first:
But there was a huge concert going on and on and on and on....
Levi fell asleep.
Then Dallin fell asleep.  And finally Weston fell asleep. I even tried to wake them when the firework finally started around 11:45 but they were passed out. Oh well.
The next day we went to a giant kids museum. They had a blast.
